BRIEF BUT ACTIVE...

Within a 10 to 15 minute period, WCPD made two arrests in the east end...

At around 22:00, units were dispatched to the report of a property damage accident at Linden and Walnut Streets. A vehicle was reportedly involved in an accident on the 700 block of South Walnut and was later stopped at the intersection. After conducting field sobriety tests on the driver of the striking vehicle, P/O Karl McIntyre placed the driver under arrest and transported him to Chester County Hospital for blood work to determine the driver's level of intoxication.

While that incident was being handled, units were dispatched to the 300 block of East Barnard Street for the report of a physical domestic between and a father and son. Upon arrival, officers reported the fight was still in progress and they were in the process of breaking up the fight. During one transmission over the police radio, at least one of the subjects can be heard yelling in the background. The officer then said, "Believe it or not, we're 10-92 (under control)." One of the actors was taken into custody.
