PEDESTRIAN STRUCK ON SOUTH WALNUT

WCPD is investigating an accident where a pedestrian was struck by a car in the Southeast within the past hour. At 00:24, WCPD and EMS were dispatched to the report of a pedestrian struck on the 600 block of South Walnut Street. The victim was transported by GFAC and Medic 91 to Crozer-Chester Medical Center; no other information is available about the victim. It had sounded like the driver of the striking vehicle was being taken to CCH for blood testing, but due to radio reception issues from work, it's hard to confirm that at this time. The accident is still under investigation (WCPD #20070912M0004).

The Criminal Day recap will be posted sometime early this morning. A hiccup in the internet access is causing a slight delay, but the recap will be posted before the sun rises...
