It was a very slow criminal day at 15-1-01...
Only 10 cases were listed, with 2 DUI defendants waiving preliminary hearings, 3 marijuana possession cases from the University continued, 1 misdemeanor institutional vandalism charged reduced to a summary disorderly conduct charge, and 1 drug possession case from the Borough continued. Three other cases were listed as continued to later dates, 2 of which slated for next week.
The lone highlight of the day's cases was a landlord-tenant dispute involving back rent and damage to the defendant's apartment; the damage in question was $180.00 due to a clogged toilet. The cause of said clogged toilet? The "burial" of a goldfish.

But other than that, not much to write home about...
