VICE STING IN COATESVILLE

Coatesville Police and the Chester County Municipal Drug Task Force conducted a "reverse john" sting last night, involving an undercover female detective posing as a prostitute and walking the streets of Coatesville. The sting resulted in the arrest of seven men according to complaints filed by Cpl. Chris McEvoy of the Coatesville City Police:

• Antonio Alejandro, 23, of Coatesville, is charged with one count each of Promoting Prostitution, Soliciation for the Promotion of Prostitution, Disorderly Conduct, and Driving a Motor Vehicle Without a License. Alejandro is free after posting $2,500 bail (15-1-03, CR-0000218-07).
• Venancio Sotelo Gonzalez, 50, of Coatesville, is charged with one count each of Promoting Prostitution, Soliciation for the Promotion of Prostitution, and Disorderly Conduct. Gonzalez is free after posting $2,500 bail (15-1-03, CR-0000219-07).
• Lloyd Biggs, 53, of Coatesville, is charged with two counts each of Promoting Prostitution, Soliciation for the Promotion of Prostitution, and Disorderly Conduct. Biggs is free on $2,500 unsecured bail (15-1-03, CR-0000220-07).
• James Cobb, 50, of Coatesville, is charged with one count of Promoting Prostitution, Soliciation for the Promotion of Prostitution, and Disorderly Conduct. Cobb is free on $2,500 unsecured bail (15-1-03, CR-0000221-07).
• Benito Alvardo Fuentes, 25, of Coatesville, is charged with one count each of Promoting Prostitution, Soliciation for the Promotion of Prostitution, and Disorderly Conduct. Gonzalez is free after posting $2,500 bail (15-1-03, CR-0000222-07).
• Cesar Reyes, 26, of Coatesville, is charged with one count each of Promoting Prostitution, Soliciation for the Promotion of Prostitution, and two counts of Disorderly Conduct. Reyes is free after posting $2,500 bail (15-1-03, CR-0000223-07).
• Roland Brown, 47, of Coatesville, is charged with one count each of Promoting Prostitution, Soliciation for the Promotion of Prostitution, and Disorderly Conduct. Brown is free in lieu of $5,000 unsecured bail (15-1-03, CR-0000224-07).

All seven defendants face preliminary hearings on September 26 at Coatesville District Court in front of Judge Robert Davis. All defendants were arraigned this morning in Valley District Court by Judge Grover Koon.
