TRIAL OF THE CENTURY...

A case of dramatic proportions unfolded in front of Judge Thomas Gavin at the Chester County Courthouse today. It was a case so big, that Sam Stretton was able to break away from his lengthy stay in Philadelphia's Common Pleas court system defending murder suspects to represent the defendant in this matter. It was a case so important, that two WCPD officers spent a significant portion of the day waiting to see how the drama would unfold. It was so big, that a multi-media presentation was a part of the case.

So what was the underlying charge in this "Trial of the Century?" Murder in the First Degree? Aggravated Assault? Recklessly Endangering Another Person? Forgery?

Would you believe a summary charge of Disorderly Conduct?

Yes, the scheduled court business of Judge Gavin was tied up for nearly two hours over a case of alleged disorderly conduct by a prominent neighborhood activist and ended with said activist being led off in handcuffs by WCPD...

Well, I'd like to be able to post more particulars at this time, but I'm ready to fall asleep, and it's not as though Courtroom #5 had any decent air conditioning, so the full story will come later tonight.
