Earlier this morning, I had filed a report on yesterday's Criminal Day at 15-1-01 in which one of the defendants who had failed to appear the week before had surrendered to WCPD and was arraigned on obstruction and drug related conspiracy charges. Elliot Henry Young, 18, of West Chester, had been free after posting $2,500 bail on two counts of Conspiracy to Possess Controlled Substances with Intent to Deliver, two counts of Conspiracy to Corrupt Minors, one count of Conspiracy to Furnish Minors with Alcohol, and one count of Obstruction of Law or Other Governmental Function (15-1-01, CR-0000176-07).
This morning, Young again appeared in front of Judge Bruno, this time on charges of Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct following an early morning incident in a complaint filed by P/O Thomas Flick. Young was committed to Chester County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail on these new charges (15-1-01, CR-0000196-07). In any case, Young will have a preliminary hearing scheduled for Tuesday.
What was this idiot thinking?
