DOMESTIC IN THE NORTHWEST...

At around 20:50, WCPD, GFAC, and Medic 91 were dispatched to the report of a domestic in progress on the 300 block of West Marshall St. On what was reported to be a family-related domestic, a woman in her 60's was reported to have been knocked down by a 51-year-old male and was found in a flower bed upon arrival, though was not seriously injured. After investigating the incident, police took Stephen W. Giffing into custody on charges of Simple Assault and Harassment. He was commited to Chester County Prison in lieu of $5,000 and is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing on Tuesday, May 22 in front of Judge Bruno. (15-1-01; CR-0000140-07)
