Anne Mahlum getting a hug from fellow runner5 of us biked from Betzwood to the Art Museum and back today. We all remarked on what an incredible day it was. Low humidity, low temps and Dragon Boats on the Schuylkill River as we biked by.
There was a fund raiser going on near the AM. The young college girl who started giving running shoes to homeless folks and getting them into running was the recipient of the monies raised, hopefully to buy more shoes and help spread the program nationwide. The program is called Back on my Feet. Read about Anne Mahlum in the Inquirer and discover one unbelievably wonderful young lady.
But coming home, we all stopped near Manyunk and Melinda remarked, "aren't we lucky, biking on a beautiful day, with our health and good fortunes". Indeed!
