Verizon Wireless conducting Job Fairs in Rockland County

    ORANGEBURG, N.Y., April 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon Wireless, America's
leading wireless provider, is seeking highly-qualified applicants to fill
customer-facing positions now available in the company's business sales,
telesales and Communications Store teams throughout the New York Metro
area. Locally, the company hired more than 800 employees last year to keep
pace with the growing demand for its wireless voice and data products and

Two job fairs will be held at colleges in Rockland County next week.
The first will take place Tuesday, April 10, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in
Romano Hall on the campus of St. Thomas Aquinas College, located at 125 Rt.
340 in Sparkill, NY. A second job fair will be held on Wednesday, April 11,
from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Dominican College, 470 Western Highway in
Orangeburg, NY.

Among the new full-and part-time employees being sought are English-
Spanish speaking candidates to meet the needs of the New York Metro area's
growing Hispanic population.
